We have a vibrant and diverse community of around 10,000 students from all parts of the UK and over 70 countries worldwide.

We offer a wide range of courses – ranging from Science and Engineering to Education, Arts and Humanities, Business and Law. All our courses offer the option of doing International Experience or a Work Placement.

Founded in 1884, we pride ourselves on the standard of our teaching and research and were awarded a Gold Award, the highest rating possible, in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

Bangor initially stood out as a really good course and really good place to live. It’s one of the most down to earth places I’ve ever been and everyone’s really friendly.

All the lecturers are first-class and in terms of learning resources and equipment, it’s all there.

I’d 100% recommend it.

First year students – including Clearing applicants – are guaranteed a room in our highly-rated accommodation, which is located across two sites within walking distance of most of the University buildings.

Bangor’s size and nature means that our students settle in quickly, and are encouraged to take advantage of the many extracurricular opportunities offered through free membership of the Student Union’s award-winning clubs and societies. (What Uni Gold award for best student clubs and societies in the UK for the third year running).

Psychology, Sports Science, Biomedical Sciences, Primary Education, Zoology, Conservation, Journalism, Film Studies and Languages are amongst the many Clearing options available. Contact us today to discuss your place for this September.
